A day that will live in our hearts forever
The day we will be joined as one
Little did we know a year or so ago before
Where this journey would end that we'd begun...
I have never felt so blessed
Since you have been in my life
Nothing is more important now
Than that moment I will become your wife...
It's the inspiration for my daydreams
Each moment's musing includes you
As I was going through my life without your love
Oh..If I had only knew!....
That in a few short days and weeks
The blink of an eye it seemed
That I would be meeting up with you
The man who would fulfill all my dreams....
It would have been so much easier
My step would have grown lighter
I would simply have envisioned
Your arms wrapping around me tighter...
And if I had only known then too
That I'd be standing before this man
Reciting the vows that would bind us
As you gently hold my hand....
Nothing else would have ever mattered
The past, together, we've wiped away
Nothing else will fill me will so much pleasure
